Hi, I'm Brandon Garate — a Software Engineer currently interning at GradeFlow, where I build audio transcription pipelines in Go and ship frontend features in React. I also founded CoTeX, a developer tool incubated at SDSU's ZIP Launchpad that reimagines how teams document and onboard into complex codebases.

My stack spans C++, Python, Go, and TypeScript with cloud experience across AWS (Lambda, IoT Core, DynamoDB) and GCP. I've built everything from C++ firmware for IoT devices at the RTEC Lab to RAG pipelines with vector search and real-time backends serving 500+ concurrent users.

Beyond engineering, I co-authored research on early engineering education and enjoy designing STEM programs for students.
