Hi, I’m Brandon Garate — a Software Engineer and founder of CoTeX.md, a developer tool incubated at SDSU’s ZIP Launchpad. CoTeX.md reimagines how teams document and onboard into complex codebases.

Beyond startups, I explore embedded systems research at the RTEC Lab, working on IoT and firmware projects that bridge hardware and software.

When I’m not building, I mentor young coders at Code Ninjas and design STEM programs for students — even co-authoring research on early engineering education
